This weeks Wednesday night No-Gi class (7pm - 8pm) sees us welcome .leeds newest black belt, for a special guest coach session! Diving into the art of leg locks, Jimmy will be sharing knowledge from his many years of grappling experience onto the Mirfield mats. A must attend session for all members + drop ins from all academies are welcome (drop in fees apply) ❤️🥷

We are super proud of our team at the Northern Open yesterday! ❤️

Having only opened our doors in August last year, this was the first time we’ve taken a team into competition with 3 members stepping up to represent IMA Mirfield.

After a day of hard fought battles, lessons learned and the ups & downs of victory and defeats, we came away with Gold in the -97.5kg beginners Masters, and Bronze -97.5kg beginners adult division. 🥇🥉

This is the first silver wear for the club and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone that has helped the lads get the wins; from all the members in training to the support we saw on the day.

A huge shout to all the guys that stepped onto the mat to represent the club and also our family & friends who came down to support them.

This is just the beginning for the club and we can’t wait to start racking up more wins as we continue to establish the IMA family! 🥰

🚨Brand new beginners BJJ course! 🚨

After the amazing success of our first 8 week beginners BJJ course that started in January, we welcomed people from all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels onto the mats to begin their Jiu jitsu journey.

With no membership commitment, basic & easy to understand techniques / concepts and a fun training environment provided by our experienced training team, we wanted to once again open our doors and offer the first steps in learning Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
