Stover School Sixth Form pupils have produced a fantastic set of A Level results, surpassing all expectations. Over 40% of papers taken achieved A* or A grades and 75% of papers achieved grade C or above.
Head of School, Caroline Ward, said "I am delighted. These results are a credit to every one of our pupils and to the teachers who have taught them, stretched them and believed in them. To see the pupils’ hard work rewarded so spectacularly is a real joy. Congratulations to you all and good luck with whatever comes next. We will miss you."
63% of the cohort achieved A* or A grades, across a range of 13 different subjects, including all Sciences, Maths and English Literature.
Some of our top performers include:
Annie with 2 A* grades and a B in English Literature, Geography and Biology;
Rebecca with 1 A*, 2 grade As and a Merit in English Literature, History, Media Studies and Food Science and Nutrition, as well as an A in her Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
Beau achieved an A* in Maths, A grades in Chemistry and Physics, and an A in AS Biology.
Elen achieved an A* in Biology, an A in Chemistry and a B in Maths.
Patrick achieved A* in Maths, with A grades in Further Maths, Physics and his EPQ.
Stover pupils now move on to a wide range of universities, apprenticeships and gap year plans, taking Stover's very best wishes with them.
