We’ve had a place become available on our City & Guilds Level 2 Certificate of Competence in the Safe Use of Hand Held Hedge Cutters course, taking place on Thursday 22nd October.

The course is suitable for anyone working in horticulture, arboriculture or forestry who uses handheld hedge cutters as part of their job.

You’ll cover pre-use checks and maintenance, machine controls and the safe operation of hedge cutters.

It's coming up to Half Term and that means one thing!!! We get ready for the Juniors to learn all things tractors. This course is extremely popular, we are now fully booked for 2026 and have a waiting list for February 2027. If you are interested in this course please let us know and we can add you to the waiting list.

⚠️ From 1st January 2026, proof of competence was made mandatory for anyone purchasing or using rodenticides.

Due to this change our City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Rodent Management training and assessment courses book up very quickly. This course provides the certification you need to stay compliant and up to date with industry standards.

🎉 Another Fantastic City & Guilds Audit Result! 🎉

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news with our customers!

Our Assessment Centre 009734 recently welcomed the City & Guilds Sampling Verifier for our latest audit on 17 July 2026, and we are incredibly proud of the positive outcome.

The audit ran from 9:15am until 4:00pm, with a detailed review of our assessment and quality assurance processes, documentation and learner records.

We’re pleased to say that the Sampling Verifier was more than happy with our processes and quality assurance arrangements, with excellent feedback across the documentation and systems sampled.

The audit highlighted:

🌱 October is a busy month here at Rowdefield Farm! 🚜

October marks the start of planting season, so things are certainly getting busy out in the fields! There’s plenty going on behind the scenes as we get crops in the ground and prepare for the months ahead. 🌾

While the farm is busy with planting, our Training Centre is just as busy! 👷‍♀️📚 We have a great range of courses taking place throughout the month, with people joining us to gain new skills, refresh existing ones and work towards their qualifications.

And it’s not just training keeping us busy! Our four purpose-built rooms are also available for hire, offering flexible spaces for workshops, meetings, training sessions etc. Whether you need a space for a few hours or a full day, get in touch to discuss your requirements.

We also offer tractor driving experiences throughout the year — perfect for anyone looking for a fun and memorable experience. 🚜
