Chirton Pre-School is a safe, secure and stimulating environment for two to four year olds.

We are a small, friendly, welcoming setting where we aim to enhance the development and education of each child, ensuring equality of opportunity for all children and families. Our sessions are from 9am until 12pm and 12pm until 3pm, Monday to Friday during term time. We also offer a breakfast club from 8am until 9am. We are a relatively small setting with a high staff ratio to children, which all

ows us to focus on each child’s needs individually. We encourage children to explore all of the setting and we offer Forest school outdoor learning. Our pre-school is within the secure grounds of Chirton School, in the quiet village of Chirton just ten minutes’ drive from both Devizes and Pewsey. Chirton is easily accessible from surrounding villages such as Marden, Beechingstoke, Conock, Bottlesford, Wilsford, All Cannings, Charlton St Peter and more.

After reading ‘Pumpkin Soup’ we decided to make some Pumpkin Soup chopping the vegetables into small pieces. Whilst the soup was cooking we went on an Autumn walk, noticing the colours of the leaves and making collections of pine cones and Conkers.
The children in Pips walked 4 miles for our Sponsored Stomp, visiting the donkeys in Wedhampton. A huge thank you to Mrs Cooper for letting us have our snack in her garden. 🍁🍂🎃🫏🥰

Another beautiful Autumn morning 🍂
Today we noticed the colours in the trees, listened to the bird songs, and learnt about some of the smaller animals that live in the woods! We also found time to have S'mores. Thank you Mrs Hall for our Marshmallow tree 🥰

Both Pips and Hope are discovering the joy of Autumn - making Hedgehogs, collecting Conkers and Sweet Chestnuts.
Pips have been investigating construction materials, building towers and bridges, huge railways with towns and farms around it.
Transient art pictures have been made by Joy, using Autumn leaves and mud.
