In honour of World Parrot Day on May 31st, we’re spotlighting 5 extraordinary parrot species, each with its own story, habitat, and challenges in the wild.

Together with partners working on the ground around the world, the World Parrot Trust supports conservation efforts tailored to each species and the ecosystems they depend on.

This year’s candidates are:
• Great Green Macaw
• Yellow-naped Amazon
• Timneh Parrot
• Kākā
• Mitchell’s Lorikeet

Learn their stories, celebrate their uniqueness, and cast your vote for the species that inspires you most.
