Spread the word! We are opening the doors to the fire station here in Desborough next month. Join us on Saturday 12th September from 10am to 4pm.

You will have opportunity to explore a fire engine, chat to fire fighters, watch a live demo and pick up safety information.

As we close the doors on another successful year, we'd like to say a huge well done to all of our amazing pupils for their hard work, resilience and achievements. We are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished both in and beyond the classroom.

This year has been filled with memorable experiences, exciting opportunities and wonderful progress across the school. From new initiatives such as our playground zones to improvements in outcomes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, there is so much to celebrate.

A heartfelt thank you goes to our dedicated staff, supportive governors and wonderful parents and carers. Your partnership and commitment help make our school such a special place to learn and grow.

A special farewell and good luck to our Year 6 pupils and their families. Many of you have been part of our school community for many years, and it has been a privilege to watch your children grow, develop and flourish. We are incredibly proud of the young people they have become and wish them every success, happiness and opportunity as they begin the next exciting chapter of their journey.

Have a safe, relaxing and enjoyable summer break. We look forward to welcoming many of you back in September, ready for another fantastic year ahead!

What a year it has been! Reception have grown so much; in confidence and resilience as well as height! We have had a fantastic year, and all the Hedgehogs, Rabbits and Squirrels hope you have a lovely summer.

Year 2 had a brilliant day at Burghley House on Monday 13th July. We had a tour of the building and got to see the bed where Queen Victoria slept. We then became Victorian children: shining shoes, setting dinner tables, folding laundry and playing with Victorian toys. The best bit of the day though, was the adventure playground!

All ready for the Year 6 Leaver's Disco

This morning, our next group of children who have achieved 500 Dojos joined Mrs Kiziak for a celebratory tea party. Their hard work, perseverance, and positive choices have truly paid off.

Well done to each and every one of you. We are incredibly proud!

Da Vinci class have been enjoying their final week in school, with a pyjama party and films. Their final challenge was to re-create the Parthenon from images and no instructions.

Our town hunt is back!
From Friday 24th July pick up the entry sheets in the library and hunt for the pictures around Desborough.
