Should we start a Monthly Woodturning Club? 🪵👇

​We’ve had so many people come through the workshop recently, learn the basics, and ask: “What’s next?” or “Where can I get regular access to a lathe and chat with other makers?”

​So, I’m thinking about setting up a regular Monthly Woodturning Club right here in the workshop.

​The idea would be to get together once a month to:

​🛠️ Work on your own turning projects with access to tools & equipment.

​💡 Share techniques, tips, and project ideas with fellow woodturners.

​☕ Grab a cup of tea/coffee, talk shop, and hang out with a great community.

​🌲 Try out new timber, techniques, and finish options together.

​Whether you’ve taken a class here before, turn at home and want to meet local makers, or just want dedicated time to sharpen your skills, this would be for you.

​Would you be interested in joining something like this?

​Drop a comment below with a "YES" or leave a quick note on what day/time of the week (e.g., weekday evening vs. weekend) would work best for you! If there's enough interest, I'll get the first date on the calendar.
