This Sunday, some of our staff will be taking part in the Waterside Half Marathon in memory of our esteemed colleague and friend, Dermot Gallagher, who we were deeply saddened to lose this year.

Pictured is Dermot’s wife, Carol, who will be supporting this very special occasion.

The team will also be raising money for the Foyle Hospice, an incredible charity that provides invaluable support to so many individuals and families across our city.

We wish everyone taking part the very best of luck as they run in Dermot’s memory. ❤️

Great news today for St Brigid’s College!

Education Minister Paul Givan has announced that three major works projects, previously announced in 2022 but paused due to budget constraints, will now move forward to the planning and design stage.

We are delighted that St Brigid’s College is in line for a new build - an exciting and significant step forward for our school community.

This represents real progress for the future and brings us one step closer to providing the first class facilities our pupils, staff and wider school community deserve.

St Brigid's College ASPIRE programme is currenlty building on LEGO resources. We are hoping to facilitate an afterschools LEGO Club where our young people can learn,create and have fun togeather. All donations will be greatly appreciated, if you would like to donate please drop them in to Sharon at Greater Shantallow Area Partnership. Thank you for supporting our young builders!

ASPIRE afterschool clubs will commence on the 21st of September, for year 8 pupils only. Registration forms will be given out in school from week commencing the 8th of September. Please ensure forms are complete and returned before wednesday the 16th of September, so your child can participate. Spaces are limited!
