School uniform allowance payments will be made from the week starting 31 July and will continue every week to applicants who have been confirmed as eligible.

Payments for children aged 16 and over will be made in October.

Please check your account each week for payment and only contact us if you submitted your application more than five weeks ago and have not received a response.

Prize-Giving 2023
We presented our pupils with their medals for Sports Day events yesterday. Each child tried their very best in every event and the competition was fierce.

KS1 & KS2 pupils received their certificates from Verbal Arts Centre for completing the Wellbeing Through Storytelling 12 week programme. Pupils explored emotions and empathy through stories and engaged in lively discussions.

KS2 pupils also received certificates for completing the Irish News Young Readers programme. Well done everyone!

The end of an era for Listress.

Thank you to Fr McDermott for leading us in celebration at the end of year Mass yesterday. It was a lovely occasion of thanksgiving and reflection on 56 years of Listress, as we embark on a new journey at our amazing new school. Our wonderful pupils sang and read beautifully, we are so proud of you. Thanks to former principal Mr Healy and other guests from the Listress family for joining us.

We said a fond farewell to our Primary 7 children, Cara and Charlie-Jo, who are also off to pastures new next year. We wish you every blessing and happiness in the next chapter and look forward to hearing all about your new adventures.

It was also time to say goodbye to Bernie, our caretaker. Thank you for your hard work and enjoy retirement.

Lastly, we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our families and give heartfelt thanks for the beautiful gifts, messages and cards we received. Thanks also to our parents for providing the delicious refreshments after Mass. Wishing you all a very happy and relaxing break and we’ll see you in September in Tamnaherin.

We had a wonderful time at the Moviebowl today, starting with play in Bananas, a delicious lunch and then a movie. Thanks to Miss Smallwoods for the special treats of popcorn and ice-cream!
