We are so proud of you girls.

We would like to say Thank You to Maisie, Phoebe and Lily who donated £65 this week. They raised this making bracelets and selling them at school!

I love to see young ones valuing fundraising and wanting to help others. Your parents and school must be so proud (and this is not the first fundraiser they have done)

P6T had such a fun numeracy lesson today learning about place value! 🔢

The children used LEGO to create their very own sea creatures and then came up with a name for their creation. 🐠🐙🦀

Once they had chosen a name, they used the code A = 1, B = 2, C = 3 and so on. Each child worked out the numerical value of their sea creature’s name before sharing their answers with the class.

But the challenge didn’t stop there! 🤩 The children then had to organise their sea creature names from the smallest value to the highest, putting their numeracy skills to the test.

A fantastic lesson combining creativity, problem-solving and numeracy... And, of course, lots of LEGO fun! 🧱

School is well and truly back and underway again here in Drumahoe. Today the P7s gave their House Captain Speeches.
Keep an eye out for the unveiling of the new captains on Monday.
Prefects have been elected for the first half term. We still have Eco Monitors, Kids Forum Reps and other positions up for grabs.
Here are the two P7 classes ready to make the most of their final year.

🎒✨ The wait is almost over! We can't wait to welcome all of our pupils back to school tomorrow and hear about their summer adventures.

🕘 School starts at 8:55am and finishes at 12:00 noon. 🚪 Our doors will be open from 8:45am.

👔 Please remember that all pupils should wear their full grey school uniform.

CASTLEROCK ☀️⛱️🍦
Kadet klub enjoyed their final summer trip on the train to Castlerock 🚝🏖️ thankfully it stayed mostly dry and the children enjoyed playing in the sand followed by a delicious ice cream treat 🍦

Unfortunately it wasn't to be for Mr Buchanan and Manorcunningham today. They were placed in a tough group and although they played well, the standard was very high and they just failed to qualify for tomorrow's final.
