This free online tool lets you experiment with different camera settings, including focal length, aperture and distance from your subject. It’s a great way to see how those choices affect your image, and to compare what you might get from a prime lens or a zoom.

Creative lighting back in the studio! 💡💨

For this shoot, we added smoke and used continuous light behind photographic paper, with multiple holes pierced through it to create these dramatic beams with help from Chris from

It’s a popular look I’ve noticed lately, and it’s quite achievable with the right lighting and a dark studio space. Simple setup, striking results! 📸

We experimented with smoke, off-camera flash and CTO gels to create this dramatic, cinematic portrait! 💨⚡
