Yesterday we celebrated the fantastic work of our Orchard Committee, welcoming their families, staff, Breckland Councillors Helen Crane and Alison Webb and Breckland officer Melanie Rushmere to The Orchard.
Our Orchard Committee proudly showcased everything they have achieved this year before being presented with their Woodland Trust Green Tree Schools Gold Award plaque and certificates. This prestigious award recognises the hard work and dedication of both past and present committee members, who have completed a wide range of environmental projects and challenges over the last couple of years.
Miss Theobald, Orchard Committee Lead, said: "I am incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved. They have shown such commitment to our projects over the past couple of years, and it has been wonderful to see their enthusiasm for nature during our after-school meetings. We are excited to begin working towards the Platinum Award next year and look forward to welcoming new members to the committee in September."
