We would like to wish Landau Forte Academy Moorhead the best of luck as they represent Derby County in the Premier League Primary Stars Regional Girls Football Tournament, playing on Wednesday, 4th March. ⚽️

It was brilliant to welcome our local MP, Baggy Shanker, to Landau Forte Academy Moorhead to celebrate all of the fantastic achievements of our brilliant children.

Baggy met with our formidable sporting champions and was shown round our school by our amazing School Council members, Ryley and Rhema.

Thank you ever so much for visiting our wonderful school community!

🌟 To end a fantastic Half Term, Landau Forte Academy Moorhead took part in the NFL county finals.

☔️ Despite the weather our players brought their A game and won the tournament outright!! 🥇

We are now through to the regional finals and to top it off, two of our players recieved MVP ( most valuable player) and have been scouted for Sheffield giants! 🏉

🏆 At Landau Forte Academy Moorhead, we're all very proud of our fantastic girls football team who have won yet another city-wide tournament and will now represent Derby at the Premier League Primary All-stars competition against other cities.🌟

This is in addition to reaching the regional finals in another competition.

They are certainly living out one of values of "Be Brave"!

⚽️ Sport is so important here at Landau Forte Academy Moorhead and we're very lucky that we have amazing staff to coach and train our wonderful girls. 🥅

Good morning everyone

Landau Forte Academy Moorhead will be closed today due to the snow overnight.

I aimed to make the decision as early as possible to ensure no one is making a wasted or unsafe trip and people can sort their arrangements out early on.

I really hope you all understand safety has taken priority, particularly as the roads get busier later on and the risk of ice etc.

As mentioned yesterday work will be set by the teachers by 9:30am and they will be around to help.

Equally (if safe to do so!) the children should enjoy the snow whilst it’s here!
