PE doesn't always involve the 'usual' sports at Cherry Tree Hill! Here are some of our Y5 children during a fencing lesson. Do you know your fencing words? What is the difference between a Foil, a Lamé and a Bell Guard? Ask our children, they'll tell you!

Well… our adventure is slowly coming to an end. We’re heading off now to the airport in Shanghai. A huge thank you to our colleagues, children and parents from Portway Junior School who organised this trip together with us. To the parents for trusting us, to the staff back in our schools who helped to organise our trip, our partners in the Global Schools Alliance, to our amazing staff who have worked harder than ever making the trip so amazing and above all, thank you to our amazing, resilient, funny, brave, cultured and well-travelled children!

Y2 joined author and illustrator Donna Fredin for an online assembly all about her award‑winning book That’s Not Stella. They listened to the story, took part in a draw‑along of Stella the cat, and asked some brilliant questions. Such an inspirational treat for our budding book lovers!

We’ve had a great visit to Sanhe Ancient Town in Anhui Province, China. Lots of sights, smells, food and of course… SHOPPING!
