Derby Music Centre

Last weekend, Alan and Conor, along with some former members of Derby Music Centre, had the amazing opportunity to perform at the Royal Albert Hall!
What a fantastic experience and a wonderful venue to make music in. We’re so proud of them all and hope they have some brilliant memories to take away from such a special occasion.

Well done, everyone! 👏🎶

🎶 Help us spread the word about our NEW Youth Choir! 🎶

We’re really excited to be launching a brand-new Youth Choir at Derby Music Centre — and we’d love your help getting the word out! 💙

If you know a young person who loves singing, enjoys music, or would simply love to be part of something fun and welcoming, please share this post with them, their parents, teachers, friends or anyone who might be interested.

🎤 No need to be an experienced singer — just bring your enthusiasm!

We’re hoping to build a brilliant group of singers aged 12-19, make music together, make new friends and have lots of fun along the way.

🎹 Looking to learn piano or keyboard in a group?

At the moment, Derby Music Centre doesn’t offer keyboard groups, but it’s something people ask us about regularly!

If you live in or around Ashbourne and would like to learn piano or keyboard in a friendly group session, our conductor Ed may be able to help.

A super concert here from the Helix Ensemble, with free entry for under 18s. The soloist is Cat Johnson, who teaches many of our members.
