We're pleased to be sponsoring this year's Autism Friendly Family Festival in Derbyshire. Spectrum Derbyshire CIC
The Festival, which first took place in 2018, is the perfect setting for families and friends to meet in a judgment-free place. With 25 acres of grounds to explore throughout the day, there’s plenty of time for both fun-filled activities and quiet times.
Lea Green, near Matlock, hosts the Festival to raise awareness for autism and provide support for those who need it. Activities are suitable for a range of ages and abilities, so the whole family can get involved.

Pupils at Maple View School visited the zoo to build on their recent classroom learning about animals. It was a great opportunity to connect what they’ve been learning in class to real-life situations, while also spending time with their peers in a different environment.
The trip gave pupils the chance to see a range of animals up close and, in some cases, take part in feeding experiences.
Visits like this are an important part of Maple View School’s approach, combining structured learning with practical experiences.
