Pupils at Maple View School visited the zoo to build on their recent classroom learning about animals. It was a great opportunity to connect what they’ve been learning in class to real-life situations, while also spending time with their peers in a different environment.
The trip gave pupils the chance to see a range of animals up close and, in some cases, take part in feeding experiences.
Visits like this are an important part of Maple View School’s approach, combining structured learning with practical experiences.

It was a well attended event and we spoke to lots of enthusiastic future support workers, who we look forward to meeting again in our formal recruitment process.
