Help us pull together more than 6,000 shoeboxes this year for the Teams4U charity 'Love in a Box'. Following our successful launch at the River Mill venue, Darley Abbey, involving Marketing Derby bondholders, we aim to reach pre-pandemic levels of interest. Over the past few weeks in our pre school Sapphire room we have had lots of fun in the snow, exploring loose parts and using our fine motor skills to thread pasta.
We are enjoying dinosaur small world and used dinosaur books for our focus on world book day.
We are loving our new home corner and have lots of fun looking after our babies.

Over the last few weeks in our Topaz room (Toddlers) we have been exploring the Hungry Caterpillar book, we have looked at insects and animals and had lots of fun in our tuff tray.
We washed our babies and experimented with lots of different ways to use paint!

Over the last few weeks our Ruby room (Baby Room) have been celebrating and exploring!

We have celebrated the Romanian tradition of Martisor with one of our little friends and celebrating birthdays.

We have also been potion making in our big cauldron adding lots of different ingredients, we’ve used our pincer grip to pick up glitter and sprinkle it into our potions. The children all took turns searching for different items in the newly made potion as well as exploring the different textures that we’d made 🧪

We’ve also been looking at different animals, listening to the sounds they make and playing with them in our jungle!

We had great fun celebrating World Book day yesterday!

Be able to think ‘in the moment’ & outside the box
Most importantly, you will be an example of love in its truest form, loving these children unconditionally and showing them that the world is, indeed, full of wonderful people as there is simply no other job quite like this one.
