🌟 A Very Special Visit! 🚑

Today we had some very special visitors at nursery — our local paramedics came to see us in their ambulance! 🚑❤️

The children had a wonderful time learning all about the important equipment paramedics use and even had the opportunity to listen to each other’s heartbeats using a real stethoscope. 🩺

And, of course, the highlight of the day was getting to press the horn and make the sirens sound! 🚨 What an exciting experience!

We love helping our children learn more about the wonderful people in our community who help and care for us every day. 💕

What a special and memorable day it was! 🌟

Forest School Adventures 🌿

This week at Forest School, we were delighted to welcome some more new faces as our younger children enjoyed their very first visit to the forest!

Our more experienced children were fantastic role models, confidently showing our newcomers how to explore the forest safely and responsibly. It was wonderful to see them sharing their knowledge and helping everyone feel at home in the great outdoors.

Sticks proved to be a firm favourite this week, inspiring plenty of creativity and imaginative play. Some children worked together to build their very own teepee, while others set off on a fishing adventure, finding the perfect sticks to use as fishing rods 🎣

It was a fantastic week of exploration, teamwork and outdoor learning, and we can’t wait to see what adventures next week brings! 🌳✨

This week at Forest School, the children explored the woodland and discovered how much it has changed. They noticed that lots of leaves had fallen—not because it's autumn, but because of the recent weather! We talked about why rain is so important for our trees and plants and how it helps them stay healthy. The children had great fun sweeping up the fallen leaves using big sticks ☔️ 🪵

For some of our children, this was their very first Forest School session. We spent time discussing how to keep ourselves safe while exploring the woodland. It was wonderful to see our more experienced children confidently supporting the younger ones, demonstrating safe practices and setting a fantastic example.

To finish the session, we set up our slackline and enjoyed taking turns balancing and climbing. The children developed their balance, coordination, and confidence while encouraging one another and celebrating each other's achievements 🍃
