Matilda feels especially perfect for World Book Day. Roald Dahl’s story is a love letter to the power of reading. Through books, Matilda escapes her small English village and travels the world... exploring Africa with Hemingway, India with Kipling, and sailing the seas with Joseph Conrad. All from the quiet corner of her bedroom.

We are so proud of our students owning the stage in 2026 and working together as one 🤩 A peak into our Juniors class with some amazing moments from the School of Rock Musical ( and its just rehearsals). We are also incredibly proud of our Senior Student Oliver who has only gone and written a masterpiece film script, the clips include some of his directorial debut moments at the academy. Original work and innovation produced at 2Beez every week at the heart of Derby Grammar School🤩. Watch out for some Bridgerton period Drama study moments and stage time included.☺️☺️☺️☺️

Enrolment is officially open and we are thrilled to welcome new students in the new term to train at our innovative academy every week on a Sunday from 2-5pm.
