Some lovely shots of the course from over the weekend which hosted England Golf Men’s Champion Club Championship. Well done to all contestants who took part and to our greens team for keeping the course in fantastic condition!

The 6th - striped up and basking in the May sunshine!

With and Cutler Brook setting the scene alongside, this 436y par 4 requires a well placed tee shot, avoiding those fairway bunkers. You’ll likely be greeted by Canadian geese along your way.

Spring is nearly here, which means it’s renovation time!

Our greens have been double verti-cut, mown, hollow cored with the ProCore, top dressed with 2 tonnes of sand per green, deeper aeration with a verti-drain, then rolled and brushed-in to finish.

A granular feed will be applied when we next have rain forecast, then hopefully the sun keeps shining to aid a speedy recovery.

The 16th tee has been laser levelled and re-turfed with a premium quality Rye and Fescue blend from , ahead of season.

Despite the weather not playing ball recently, our greenkeeping team have pressed on - making improvements across the course, including drainage work, tree maintenance, pathways and other areas re-turfed.

Some exciting projects are in store for later on in the year too, stay tuned!
