We are very excited for our nursery children and our new starters to move into Reception in September. We will be inviting parents and pupils to our transition events later in the year.
It’s a huge decision choosing which school you would like your child to attend and you don’t always get the choice you wanted. If you are unhappy with your child’s school place allocation, please contact Mrs Hamblin on 01332 662631 to discuss your options. We have some spaces in our Reception class so please get in touch. We welcome tours for you and your children. 💚

Vaccines protect your child from chickenpox, measles, whooping cough and other serious illnesses. 🧒
To ensure your child hasn’t missed any vaccinations, check their red book or speak to your GP practice.

Mrs Hamblin and Mrs Salt (safeguarding governor) have spent the afternoon at Allenton primary school community event.
There was lots of useful information shared and lots of places to signpost parents and carers. There was even a photo opportunity with the Mayor of Derby who expressed an interest in visiting Meadow Farm.
As you can see we also picked up lots of useful leaflets which show what support is available in Derby.
If you would like to know any more information, please speak to Mrs Hamblin.

It’s children’s mental health this week… if you child needs some support there are plenty of places to reach out (including school of course).
See below for contact information 👇
Mental health is just as important as physical health and although we can’t always ‘see’ mental health it needs care and support aswell. 💚
Knowing where to get support for children and young people is key.

If you are unsure what vaccines your child has or hasn’t had please refer to their red book or contact your GP.
Childhood illnesses can be life changing and not in a good way. 🦠
Illnesses like measles and whooping cough can be serious and spread easily between children who are not vaccinated. 👦👧
To check if your child has missed any vaccines, look in their red book or contact your GP practice.
