it alll starts on the training day but here’s the thing… you’ll also be working with; lots of new information and new way of doing things, potentially the first time you’ve ever painted, new products and potentially some nerves (mixed with the passion to want to get it right)

But here’s the thing about the training we give you, it’s not just ‘listen, watch, do your best’ it gives you the foundations and for every reason or technique, you’ll understand the why and our case study checklist is thorough & specific. Meaning when you do go on to practice you’ll have the knowledge, understanding and feedback to know how to keep improving!

When builder gel first came around there was basically no training on it and that leads to a whole heap of troubles!!!!!!!! We wouldn’t offer it as a treatment in our salon until we invested, researched and trialled everything ourselves so we knew we fully understood the product & its place in the industry 😌😌😌

Ultimate Nail Tech Qualification for May is in full swing 🚀 Our qualification is split into three days to ensure you learn, practice and build on the skills so you leave qualified, confident & the best of the best # # #

Part 1 = learning gel polish. A lot of the time this is skimmed over and potentially seen as abit outdated but here’s some things we stand by:

-> Understanding the basics and knowing the foundations well is what will set you apart

-> Prescriptive manicures- builder gel, hard gel, extensions are all suitable / not suitable for different people. We have a massive clients base whose nails loveeee and last with gel polish. It’s not one size fits all. Learn how to look after the natural nails and later treatments, it’s important!

-> You can’t runnn before you can walk. Theory, the why, the in-depth prep, the application should take the longest time and be given the most attention, it will set you up!!! You can’t rush it, it will show.

After that you go away, get practice in, get feedback (the gap inbetween courses is intentional) and come back to the academy ready to build on the foundations with your advanced skills such as builder gel & e-file ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Anyway that’s all from us today 😌😌😌 Academy days are quite frankly our favs days, we love watching students come in with a fire in their belly to do something for THEM and watch them grow 🚀🚀📈
