Good afternoon! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today, I've been busy grading Year 11 Mock Language papers. If your child needs any extra support as they prepare for exams, please feel free to reach out.

In the meantime, I thought I’d give you a little more information about me:

* I spent two fulfilling years in Australia, where I met my fiancé and explored everything from farm life in Mildura to the bustling streets of Sydney and Melbourne, as well as the laid-back atmosphere of Byron Bay.

* As an English teacher and Head of Year 9 at a local secondary school, I love guiding students through both academic and extracurricular experiences, such as our recent Mock Trial Competition at Derby Crown Court.

* I'm an avid reader, currently immersed in Lucinda Riley's 'Seven Sisters' series, and I also enjoy unwinding with light-hearted series - I’m currently binging Friday Night Dinner.

* My partner and I are currently engrossed in the Harry Potter audiobooks during long drives, we are currently on Goblet of Fire.

* Weekends are for exploring the scenic beauty of the Peak District, indulging in delicious homemade meals, and spending time with friends and family.

I would like to welcome any parents and students who might be seeking additional support with their English studies, whether that is building confidence at KS3, or preparing for GCSE Language and Literature examinations.

As a dedicated secondary school English teacher and Head of Year, I have 3 years of experience teaching the AQA GCSE curriculum.

Whether you're navigating poetry analysis, perfecting your essay writing skills, or tackling exam preparation, please get in touch and I am happy to provide extra support.

I offer evening sessions starting from 4:30 PM, available both online and in-person in Milford, Belper and Duffield.
