This Easter half term has been full of fun, laughter and
learning! π£π
Our little ones were determined detectives on their Easter egg hunt, following clues and working together to discover some yummy chocolate treats π«π
Weβve also been curious creators - painting beautiful
rainbows and exploring music by making our own sounds with instruments π¨πΆ
The children showed off their skills as super maths magicians too, matching quantities to numbers and counting all the tiny bugs hiding in our bug house ππ’

πΈ International Womenβs Day 2026 πΈ
This Sunday we celebrate the women who quite literally shape the future. In the UK, around 97% of the early years workforce is female β an extraordinary statistic that reflects just how much this vital sector is driven by womenβs skill, compassion, leadership and resilience.
Every day, women in early years settings:
β¨ Build childrenβs confidence before they even know how to write their name
β¨ Teach empathy, kindness and respect through play
β¨ Lay the foundations for literacy, numeracy and lifelong learning
β¨ Support families through some of their most important milestones
They are educators, leaders, safeguarding champions, role models and innovators β often all before lunchtime.
The impact?
Children who feel safe.
Children who feel heard.
Children who believe they can achieve.
When we invest in women in early years, we invest in the next generation of scientists, teachers, athletes, artists and leaders.
This International Women's Day we recognise the dedication, professionalism and heart that women bring to this sector β and we stand proud of the powerful influence they have on our communities every single day.
π Hereβs to the women shaping tomorrow, one little learner at a time!
