🌻 Sunflower Scientists in the Garden! 🌻

Our little explorers have been spending time in the garden this week, getting up close with our beautiful sunflowers! πŸ”β˜€οΈ

The children have been using their amazing observation skills, looking carefully at the colours, shapes, petals and patterns, and sharing what they noticed with their friends. So many wonderful conversations happening outdoors! πŸ—£οΈπŸ’›

From counting petals to spotting tiny bugs hiding in the leaves, every visit to the garden brings a new discovery! πŸ›πŸƒ

Outdoor learning at its very best! 🌿

The Rainbow Room explorers have been busy discovering the wonders of the natural world! πŸƒ From spotting minibeasts hiding under logs to collecting treasures like leaves, sticks and pinecones, our little ones are developing their curiosity and love of the outdoors. πŸ›πŸ‚

There is so much learning happening when children are free to explore nature, problem solving, scientific thinking, and a growing appreciation for the world around them. 🌍✨

🐚 Teddies Under the Sea🌟

Our little explorers have had the best time diving into our Under the Sea Tuff Tray this week🐠

The babies got hands-on with our gorgeous blue cornflour, discovering the most amazing textures as they squished, swirled and made marks with their fingersπŸŒ€

We added eucalyptus sprigs and shells to bring in some beautiful sensory elements perfect for little ones to touch, smell and explore! 🐚🌿

We also took the opportunity to label our sea life creatures, supporting our babies’ growing language and vocabulary in the most playful way. πŸ—£οΈβœ¨

So much curiosity, so much joy, we love watching our babies explore the world around themπŸ’™

What a week in the toddler room 🌟
From messy sensory play to story time snuggles. We explored, we laughed, we cleaned up approximately one million spills and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 🧑

Our babies have had a wonderful time this week! πŸ₯πŸ’›

They loved interacting with our baby chicks, gently exploring and feeling their soft feathers. The children were fascinated by the chicks and enjoyed watching them move around.

The fun continued with construction play, where the babies created their own structures and explored different ways to build and stack. They also got creative with block printing, experimenting with paint to make colourful patterns and marks. 🎨✨

πŸš—πŸ¦†πŸŒŸ What a wonderful week in the Baby Unit! πŸŒŸπŸ¦†πŸšœ

Our little ones have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the exciting topic of transport, creating and investigating lots of different tracks with a variety of textures to stimulate their senses and curiosity.

We have also been singing and learning some of our favourite nursery rhymes, especially β€œFive Little Ducks” and β€œOld MacDonald Had a Farm”. Through songs, actions, and play, the children have been developing their language skills, using and recognising single words through labelling and communication activities.

It has been a week filled with discovery, learning, and lots of smiles. We are so proud of all our babies and the progress they continue to make every day! πŸ’•βœ¨

Our little artists have been busy creating beautiful observational pictures inspired by our butterflies πŸ¦‹πŸŽ¨

The children carefully looked at the colours, patterns, and shapes of the butterflies before creating their own wonderful artwork. Through this activity, they explored creativity, concentration, and fine motor skills while learning more about the fascinating life of butterflies.

We are so proud of their amazing creations and the care they took in observing every little detail! πŸ’›βœ¨
