Half term Budding Baker Workshop. Hilton Village Hall Monday 26 October 11am- 12.30pm.
👻🎃We'll be making Gingerbread skeletons, ghosts & mummies.👻🎃
Price includes the bake, drinks and snacks while baking, colouring and crafts and a spooky goodie bag to go home with.
£20 per child, under 8's must be accompanied by an adult.

Just catching up on the new term, and what a busy few weeks we've had.
In the schools, we've been making brownies, pasta bake, chocolate chip muffins and this week Welsh rarebit muffins 😋

It's also been great back teaching at Derby Uni and seeing some new faces, so far we have made creamy mushroom pasta and this week some Scottish empire biscuits 😋

Following on from the Festival of Food and Drink I've got some cookbooks left, these have all the recipes that we made over the weekend, plus two bonus recipes. The book also contains puzzles and colouring to keep the kids entertained whilst the bake is baking. It costs £5.50 including p&p, if you want to order one comment below and I'll send you a payment link.

Do you have a son or daughter heading to university, I have compiled a Student recipe cookbook, it has 14 delicious recipes all tried and tested by the students at the University of Derby where I teach on Tuesday evening. Each double page has a recipe and an ingredients list with the cost of how much to make, and how much per portion, plus the equipment needed.
£10 including p&p.

And that's a wrap for day 2 at the Festival of Food and Drink
We've had such a lot of fun over the last 2 days, but it couldn't have done it without the help from Heidi and Amelia.
Thank you to all the children and parents for coming along and cooking up some tasty treats.
We're all looking forward to next year. ❤️

Despite the weather being up and down most of the sessions were full. We have met some wonderful people and also Chef Imogen's bake for books thank you for popping by, my first celebrity chef 😍

I decided to take some ice cold flannels, to put around the back of the kids necks, it worked a treat. The flannels are back in the wash ready for tomorrow afternoon's class.
