Three Bears Cookery Club

Yesterday we had our 1st of our 2 Budding Baker Summer Holiday Cookery Workshop.

Just a small group, but they made amazing ice cream cone cupcakes, and some fantastic piping with the icing.

Well done everyone.

Drinks and refreshments included, all children will take home the goodies they make, plus a goodie bag.

I would like to thank all the parents who have sent their children to me, I have thoroughly enjoyed teaching them.

I'm looking forward to being back in September, but for now I'm having a well earned rest.

I decided to take some ice cold flannels, to put around the back of the kids necks, it worked a treat. The flannels are back in the wash ready for tomorrow afternoon's class.

We all know it's a bit warm 🥵 at the moment.
I was pleased and relieved to be teaching my class outside this afternoon. With a nice little breeze, still warm but so much better than a conservatory 😁

What a fantastic spring butterfly workshop we had to do.
I'm so glad it was cooler today.
All the children did a great job, making vanilla cupcakes, decorating their cupcake boxes, making buttercream and decorating their cupcakes to make butterflies.

A very hot night in the Derby Uni campus kitchen last night. But all the students that attended made delicious carrot cake muffins. 😋
