Looking back at 2022: we were delighted to win "Best New Digital/Creative Start up" at the Mainframe awards. Most of this year has involved developing/adaptating hologram technology for stage in partnership with Sheffield Hallam University & Quad Arts Centre, supported by The Crucible. It will be used in a new show by Hayley Davis, "5 Years" which we are producing in 2023.
Wish wish you all a happy & healthy new year.

Feeling Frightened yet? Here's our top 10 favourite
spooky plays to get you in the mood for Halloween. "

1. Macbeth by William Shakespeare - It's an oldie, but a goodie! Ghosts, murder, witches, spells - what more could you ask for?
2. The Pillowman by Martin McDonagh - not a traditional Halloween play, but it's spine-tingling story will have feeling all the spooks.
3. The Weir by Conor McPherson - set in an Irish pub with the locals telling ghosts stories, it has an awesome spooky twist.
4. The Woman in Black by Stephen Mallatratt - you'll be checking all the wardrobes and under the bed after this true horror-style play.
5. Blythe Spirit by Noel Coward - OK, so not so scary as the others as it's a comedy, but it does contain ghosts and has some amazing characters.
6. Titus Andronicus - What? Not Hamlet?? We hear you ask. Well, we'd thought we'd throw this one in instead. Sure, Hamlet has ghosts, but does it have children baked in a pie? No. Exactly.
7. The Crucible - witch trials, intrigue, assassinations of character and the cries of; "GIVE ME MY NAME!"
8. The Haunting of the Hill House - is a suspense play that’s based on Shirley Jackson’s novel. It tells the story of an anthropologist who conducts an unusual research project in a house that’s said to be haunted....don't read it alone.
9. The Passenger - we've not read this one yet, because it's not yet published, but we love everything by Morgan Lloyd Malcom so we'll probably like this. It's all part of a new Halloween festival called "Terrifying Women" on in London next week.
10. Frankenstein - The play version of Frankenstein is based on Mary Shelley’s 1818 novel. It has a monster in it. We think that deserves a mention.

Enjoy sleeping with the light on! 😧👻😈☠️👽
