Another busy week. Another lot of miles covered across the UK.

From churches and universities to industrial estates and commercial premises, Hargreaves Utility Group continues to support clients nationwide with specialist inspection, testing, surveying and remedial services.

So far this week has taken us from Derbyshire ➡️ Kent ➡️ Ashford ➡️ Milton Keynes then tomorrow ➡️ Coventry ➡️ Northampton and then Friday onto ➡️ Poole

🚗💨 Back to business after a week’s annual leave!

The holiday feels like a distant memory already, as we’re straight back on the road with another busy week ahead! 🛣️💼

📍 Monday: Office day — reports, quotations & invoicing 💻
📍 Tuesday: Milton Keynes ➡️ Birmingham
📍 Wednesday: Nottinghamshire
📍 Thursday: Wolverhampton

This week we’re covering a mixture of Lightning Protection ⚡ and Fire Hydrant Inspections 🔥💧, keeping our clients’ systems inspected, tested and compliant.

Then it’s back to the office on Friday to catch up on all the paperwork and get ready for the weeks ahead! 📋✅

It’s certainly not a 9–5, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! 💪

🚀 What a week for Hargreaves Utility Group! 🚀

This week we’ve utilised all three companies within the Group, covering a fantastic range of work across the country. 💪🇬🇧

🔹 Coastline Safety Services — Monday & Tuesday in the North East at a hospital, undertaking a gas leakage survey. 🔥💨

🔹 SES Utilities — Wednesday in Basingstoke, carrying out a fire hydrant survey. 💧🚒

🔹 Derbyshire Fire and Safety — Today, up in the Peak District at a beautiful local church, carrying out lightning protection inspection works. ⛪️🦺

Friday is an office day catching up on paperwork, quotes and everything else that comes with running a busy group of companies! 💻📋

Then it’s time to switch off for a while… ✈️🌞🇬🇷

We’re heading back to Kefalonia for 7 nights! 🏝️🍹

After the workload we’ve had recently, we all need a bit of downtime and a chance to recharge the batteries. 🔋❤️

Then it’s back on duty, because the diary is already totally full for September and there are only a handful of slots left for October! 📅💪

It’s certainly busy — but happy days! 😁🙌

🚧 Monday Morning | Birmingham 📍

Starting the week on the road with the team carrying out fire hydrant inspection and testing works across the Birmingham area. 🔥💧

Another busy week ahead, keeping our clients’ fire hydrant systems inspected, tested and maintained to the required standards. ✅

From routine inspections to identifying issues that could affect performance when a hydrant is needed most, our team is out there helping to provide Safety Through Certainty. 💪

🚨 Day 2 of 4 – Another busy day on the road! 🚨

Yesterday was mostly spent travelling down to the South Coast, and today we’ve certainly made up the mileage!

Today we have visited 5 sites, carrying out inspection and testing of fire hydrant systems for a variety of clients. Our route has taken us from Southampton ➡️ Dorset ➡️ Reading ➡️ Guildford ➡️ Woking and we’ve now finally arrived at our hotel near Heathrow for the evening. 🏨

Tomorrow we’re back on the road again, heading north to Huntingdon, then onwards to Fakenham in Norfolk. Where we’ll be staying tomorrow night? 🤔 Who knows! 😂 We’ll find somewhere when we get there!

📍 Thursday: Wisbech & Peterborough

💻 Friday: Back in the office preparing all the inspection reports — and, most importantly… the invoices! 💷😂

It’s certainly a lot of miles, early starts and long days, but it’s all part of delivering a professional nationwide service to our clients and ensuring their fire hydrant systems are inspected, tested and maintained to the required standards. 🔥💧✅

🚧💧 Project Update | Fire Hydrant Infrastructure – Markeaton Park, Derby 💧🚧

Today we have been supporting HVL Solutions as they carried out the successful exchange of a fire hydrant on the fire hydrant system at Markeaton Park, Derby. 👷‍♂️🔧

Maintaining fire hydrant infrastructure is essential to ensure reliable water supplies are available for the Fire & Rescue Service in the event of an emergency. Following the installation, the hydrant was pressure tested and commissioned to confirm it was operating correctly and performing to the required standard. ✅💦

A great example of teamwork and professionalism, ensuring critical fire protection assets remain fully operational for the safety of the local community. Well done to everyone involved! 👏

Another successful project completed by Derbyshire Fire and Safety!✅

Today we completed the Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) at the historic Darley Abbey Mills. It’s been a pleasure working at such an iconic location over the last three days, helping to ensure electrical equipment remains safe, compliant, and fit for continued use. ⚡🔌

Now it’s back to the office on Friday to catch up on reports, certification, and planning before heading up to Bridlington for the weekend, where we’ll be supporting the RNLI in promoting the importance of water safety. 🌊🛟
