Our Nursery class at Melbourne Infant School has now opened its doors!

We welcome applications from families with children who have recently turned, or will shortly be turning, 3 years old. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where every child can start their journey of becoming a life-long learner who reaches for the stars!

From September 2026, Melbourne Infant School will become Melbourne Infant and Nursery School!

This marks an exciting new chapter for our school, and we are grateful for the opportunity to grow our wonderful school community.

We anticipate our Nursery will open from Monday 14th September, with the week prior being used for transition and settling-in activities for families attending.

Our nursery applications form is now open and we welcome applications from interested families. As places are limited, we encourage early applications.

This afternoon we held our final Open Session for prospective parents/carers and children for this year.

It has been lovely meeting lots of new faces, and we have particularly enjoyed seeing the smiles on the faces of the children when they received their goodie bags at the end of the tour.

A big thank you to our Class Ambassadors for being such brilliant tour guides, and for doing such a superb job telling our visitors all about our wonderful school!
