🏆✨ A few more celebrations before the craziness of show week took over! ✨🏆

We still had some very special achievements to recognise in class, and we couldn’t let them go uncelebrated! 💖

A huge congratulations to Ivy and Lucy, who were both awarded our Worker of the Week trophies for their fantastic effort and attitude in class. 🌟👏

We also presented Imogen with a special prize for becoming our newest Under 12 Fast Intermediate dancer — what an amazing achievement! 💃🔥

And another big well done to Robin, who received her prize for winning the Highest Mark Baby Trophy at Devotion Dance Festival. 🏆✨

So many lovely achievements and proud moments for our pupils. Well done, girls — keep working hard and shining! 💕🌟

🎭✨ WHAT FANTASTIC NEWS TO RECEIVE DURING OUR SUMMER HOLIDAYS! ✨🎭

Following the success of our recent exam session, we are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have not one… not two… not three… but 20 STUDENTS nominated for the prestigious IDTA Musical Theatre Awards! 🤩🏆

Yes… 20! We are so incredibly proud of every single one of you. 💜

The next stage of the process will be to prepare and send off their video audition submissions, with the hope of making it through to the Grand Final in Blackpool next year! 🎤💃🎬

What an amazing achievement and such a wonderful reflection of all the hard work our students have put into their Musical Theatre training.

A huge well done to all 20 nominees — we are super, super proud of you! 🌟👏

☀️✨ It may be the summer holidays, but we are still busy, busy, busy at the studio! ✨☀️

Alongside our summer workshops, we’ve also been holding private lessons and creating brand-new festival routines for our superstars who take part in theatrical dance competitions. 💃🩰🎭

At festivals, our dancers take to the stage to perform solos, duets and trios across both cabaret and classical sections. Each child has a bespoke routine choreographed especially for them, giving them the opportunity to develop their individuality, confidence and performance skills. 🌟

We absolutely love festivals and everything competitive dancing teaches our pupils — whether they choose to pursue performing arts as a career or simply dance because they love it. 💖

Competition teaches children:

✨ How to work hard towards their goals
✨ Resilience, determination and passion
✨ How to celebrate victories with pride
✨ How to handle disappointment graciously
✨ How to dust themselves off and try again
✨ That life may not always go exactly as planned, but you keep working, improving and giving your very best…. And sooooo much more!

We are so proud to be a competitive festival school, and we cannot wait for our next round of competitions, beginning with ✨ Starbound Events ✨ Festival of Stars! 🏆🌟

🎭✨ A VERY SPECIAL FAREWELL ✨🎭

At Saturday’s show, we said a final farewell to two of our wonderful senior students, who are both now taking the next exciting step in their performing arts journeys. 💖

🌟 is heading to London to continue her full-time training at Performance Preparation Academy

🌟 will be continuing her training at MADD COLLEGE

Just a couple of weeks earlier, we also said goodbye to .uk who, at just 13 years old, successfully auditioned for Kings International Ballet and will now begin full-time training at a professional ballet school. 🩰✨

We are unbelievably proud of all three girls.

Each of them has grown up training at Studio84, and it means so much to know that the training, opportunities and support they have received here have helped prepare them to take this next step and pursue performing arts and ballet professionally 🌟

Watching our students develop from young performers into confident, dedicated young artists who are ready to follow their dreams is exactly why we do what we do. Their achievements are thoroughly deserved, and we cannot wait to see where their journeys take them next. 💫

Girls, please don’t be strangers. Always remember where your journeys began, come back to visit us and show us everything you have been learning! Studio84 will always be your home. 🖤💗

🎭✨ WOW, WOW, WOW…
WHAT A SHOW WEEKEND!✨🎭

From start to finish, our pupils were absolutely incredible. They were professional, beautifully behaved and gave two fantastic performances that we could not be prouder of! 🌟

The feedback this year has been amazing, with so many people telling us that Into the Woods was their favourite Studio84 show yet! After all the hard work, extra rehearsals, long days and endless preparation, hearing that makes every single moment completely worth it. 💚🌲

There are so many people to thank, and you all know exactly who you are. Our wonderful teachers, backstage helpers, chaperones, prop makers, costume helpers, staff at Derby Theatre and every parent who continues to support the children and the school throughout the year — thank you so much.
We truly could not do it without you. 🫶

We hope you all felt that the extra rehearsals, busy weekends and show-week madness were worth it when you saw the children shine on that stage! ✨
