Giggle & Grow - Childminder

It’s been a tough but wonderful year here at Giggle and Grow. And I wouldn’t have been able get through it without the support of the parents/families and the beautiful smiles and laughter of the children we look after here. It’s why we love our job 🤪 I’m now going to switch off for a well deserved week off!! Here’s to Septembers adventures with a fresh start, new beginnings and the only way is up from here guys. Love to you all and thank you for your continued support 🥰

Sorry been quiet lately. Been having lots of fun over the last month or so. We have had to say good bye to some of little ones as things change for Giggle and Grow.
But as we head into our 3rd week of the summer holidays we have had barrels of fun and adventures. Heading into Waingroves wood, going on a bear hunt and found a rabbit hole on our travels, some baking making our parents some
Yummy treats, visiting some of our fav places, the old farm bus, Quackers play group, infinite wellbeing, Ripley library - enjoying their twinkle story time, and just having fun and learning with our friends 🥰😊 Hope everyone is surviving the summer holidays 🥰🤣

Our focus this month is looking at construction and all the different tools. The children so far have loved making lots of different creations.
We are also looking at families and the different people who are within the family. Comparing to our own families. 😀☺️🥰

Visiting a ur fav places Ripley library and chose some stories for Zoe’s for our story and song times. We went to the old people home for Boogie Beats shaking the ribbons, listening to a story and sharing the equipment with the adults. We like to Make them smile. Treetops Activity Centre and finally Quackers in Codnor. We even visited a new place which we really enjoyed The Old Farm Bus,there was messy play, soft play and some animals which we got to feed🥰
We’ve even been busy at Zoe’s popping bubbles, threading and enjoying the garden ❤️🥰

Our April fun.
We’ve been on sunny walks, visited the old people in the care home for boogy beats (we love singing and dancing with them). We’ve celebrated Easter with our sensory bin, messy gloop fun, enjoyed our favourite place Quackers in Codnor, finally enjoying the sun in the garden, operating diggers, plane spotting at the park, using our imagination with building and car washing.

What a fab lead up to Christmas. We’ve had to say goodbye to some of our older children and we send them the biggest of luck and they are going to smash school. We will miss you guys. But we wish you all a Merry Christmas. We’ve seen Santa, we’ve played games with Santa, we’ve done lots of crafts and had lots of fun. We will see you all in the new year for more madness.
