Bombs And Bubbles Galore

Today is the day we have been waiting MONTHS for… it’s HOCKEY DAY 🥅🏒

Pre-season hockey means we will be back in our second home later this afternoon and seeing our brand new team on the ice for the first time for the 26/27 season!

I am so excited to be going back to the arena and seeing some amazing friends and spending time shouting and cheering 📣

So I started Burning Girls this morning and finished it so now I’m about to start on another from my TBR pile… I’m not complaining about having time on my hands to do the things I love!

It’s honestly a good feeling to be able to kick back and relax with a book 📕 a dog in my lap and no cares in the world… this is what life is meant to be like!

How much can I read of this next one?

Happy Saturday folks! The weekend has arrived 🙌🏼 and that means it’s HOCKEY WEEKEND 🖤💛

It also means I can start (and hopefully finish) another book from my TBR pile that just seems to grow! Soon enough my time will be taken up with work so I’m enjoying down time as much as possible!

That’s my first week back at work done… I am glad to be back home, feet up and I can relax for the evening! It was lovely to see some of our returning students today and seeing faces I’ve not seen since I first started the job… it will be nice to see how they all get on this year!

This weekend brings family time, ice hockey and beer 🍻 before I do it all again next week!

Friday is here and it’s time to get myself back into the swing of things and remember how to sign… back to work again and now it’s time to get our students enrolled!

I am definitely not enjoying this early morning alarms, I am too used to lounging around until I’m ready to do something!

Coffee, laptop, paperwork… that’s my day ahead! Have a fabulous Friday everyone ❤️

Another year at college, more skills learned and another Distinction in the bag for the youngest! Roll on September and yet another course for her to tackle… this time it will be Animation 🙌🏼

Congratulations to everyone who got the results they were looking for. For those who didn’t get what they expected, just remember that grades aren’t who you are, and they don’t define you!

Good luck to all those receiving their exam results today… It’s time to get the youngest enrolled at her college and this year is going to be very different… I am really looking forward to how this year goes and what gets produced!

Then of course we are off to the ice rink straight after to get her practise in - she’s getting so good, from teetering around holding on to the edge to getting the confidence to be skating head up, and on edge!

Phew… I’m home and back in my armchair relaxing! Training day done… now to get some dinner done and enjoy my evening at home!

I also need to get business back on track - it’s been neglected again as I’ve been so busy with things at home that I didn’t manage to get half the things done that I wanted to!

Aaahhh that’s it, my summer is over… it’s back to work from today 😢 training today, enrolment Friday and 3 days of enrolment next week to get through… I haven’t signed in weeks, let’s hope I can get back into it swiftly!

The bags are packed, the lunch is made and the lanyard is on… here we go folks… back to college! Coffee first of course! ☕️
