What a 4 weeks it’s been so far! & it’s still not over. We move into our last week of holiday clubs running at Sawley, Spondon & Aston-on-Trent.

☀️🏃 Hot Weather Information for our Holiday Clubs

With very warm weather expected tomorrow , we want all children to have a fun, active and safe time at holiday club. Please help us by following these simple tips:

💧 Bring plenty of water – children should have a refillable water bottle with them and they will be encouraged to drink regularly throughout the day.

🧢 Sun protection – please apply high-factor sunscreen before arrival and send children with sunscreen to reapply during the day. Preferably an easy apply one. A sun hat is also a must!!!

👕 Dress appropriately – lightweight, loose-fitting sports clothing is best. Where possible, choose breathable fabrics.

🥪 Pack suitable snacks – fresh fruit and other light, nutritious snacks can help children stay fuelled and hydrated.

🌳 We’ll adapt activities – our staff will monitor the conditions and adjust the intensity, timings and location of activities, including providing regular breaks and access to shade and water.

Your child’s safety and wellbeing always come first. Thank you for helping us make sure everyone can enjoy our holiday clubs safely 😎

⏰ Early pick up is available from all clubs should you choose. There will be no pressure from us to do this, it’s entirely your choice as parents.
