Hemington Primary School

Today Otters visited Demontfort Hall to participate in the Leicestershire Music Service Concert. They listened to opera, classical music, rap, dance and old classics. Lots of singing and dancing was had by all. A great trip and one we will repeat. 🎶🎶🎶

We’re delighted to share our new school PE kit from our new provider, along with a vast range of uniform. We think it looks fantastic and are excited to see all children proudly wearing the correct school colours from next year.
Johnsons Printwear & Embroidery will be on the playground on Friday 2nd July showcasing the new uniform range. Families are welcome to come along, try items on, and place pre-orders ready for the new school year.

Our Butteflies star has produced some beautiful writing ensuring that her letters are formed correctly.
In Kingfishers, our star showed fabulous resilience and pushed himself to the limit whilst taking part in our residential activites.
Our Otters star has shown an excellent attitude to learning and has asked and answered questions with confidence.

Well done to our positive vibes who have been noticed for showing kindness on the playground.

One special mention to our kickboxing star who has been consistently attending his kickboxing sessions and has shown great improvement and confidence. ⭐

June 24th is non-uniform day!
To raise prizes for our tombola stall at the Hemington Festival, please bring in some chocolate prizes in exchange for wear what you want day!

We are delighted to invite you to Hemfest on Monday 29th June, from 3pm at the Hemlock Pavilion. This exciting community event is open to everyone and promises to be a wonderful afternoon of fun. We would love for you to join us and be part of the festivities. We can’t wait to see you there!

Badgers and Foxes were abseiling today off a bridge. The children got over their fears and took the leap off the bridge!! Much laughter and enjoyment to end the trip!

Congratulations to Derwent who have won this half terms HP's. They can come in non-school uniform on Tues 2nd June! Well done

Foxes had a fabulous time caving at Giants Hole. It was very busy in the cave and very very dark. Some people even challenged themselves and went bravely through a tight tunnel! Very proud of Hemington!
