Our first ever Pizza Party is happening on Thursday 20th August, 12pm–3pm at Hilton Village Hall.

For just £5 per child, they’ll enjoy:

All the ingredients to make their own pizza masterpiece
Crafting stations
Party bags
Music and dancing
Squash/water throughout the session

Open to children up to age 14, with all volunteers DBS checked. Parents would responsible for supervising their children throughout the activity.

Free tea and coffee will be provided for parents ☕

Just want to say a huge thankyou for everyone's support they have given me the last 4 years of being chair of the playgroup. For the first year it was just me doing everything on my own, while working and continuing being a single mum to Lyla.

I started coming to Hilton Mums and Tots a year before I took over, the playgroup was the only place I felt welcomed and the only place I could actually make friends and felt included.

Continuing through the years as chair, I'm so grateful to have met so amazing people that have helped me the past and the present:

There has been alot of highs and some lows which my amazing so glad to call friends have helped me through and understood so much. These people I have met are the most caring people ever.

Also want to say thankyou to Marian Emmett, Becky Woodings and Sophie (sorry can't seem to tag you but, think people will know who I am on about), you guys have also been here from the beginning of my journey and have also helped to support me through the years.

In my last year of chair I got to witness the playgroup celebrating so much. We reached 30 years, which we put on our first ever event. The playgroup got nominated for an award, along side I was one of the finalist for Volunteer of the year award which I got to spend with the 2 amazing people (hope you liked your photo). We was 3rd page in the Burton Mail newspaper.
I am so glad I can leave on such a high, of being an incredible year for the playgroup.

It has honestly been such an emotional few months since, I started thinking of stepping down, and then actually doing it. And today saying thankyou to everyone in the session today. Even though I will be just next door to the session it's going to be weird not having my shutters open, or even coming round at 2pm when I finish work. But, you never know what the future holds, I might just be back 👀

There is still a bit of admin work to do behind the scenes until I fully pass over the reigns. But, I am leaving you in the best of hands with Amy, who is going to take on the new role as chair and Amii (some reason can't tag), who runs the village hall, who will be taking over behind the scenes paperwork. You will still see, Karen, Kelly, Sue and Lisa as volunteers.
Thank you to Dorota who is moving on to new adventures but, you might continue to see her around. And, also Liz who has been my right hand person, my vice chair who is also leaving the playgroup you are amazing the playgroup is so lucky to have you helped out.

But, for me I am now starting a new adventure with my life, focusing on myself and being more present in my daughters, Lyla's, life without the many distractions.
When it all started with me and Lyla attending and now of how far we have come, I'm so grateful to be apart of it.
Thank you to all of the people that have attended our sessions past and present, I hope you continue to support Hilton Mums and Tots s and I know I definitely will, thank you to all the love and support you have given me.

Teddy Bears Picnic Summer Party🧸

We have had the most amazing Summer Party. Thank you all who attended. We have said goodbye to 6 of our regular children today, with a little graduation of their own 🎓

For those who don't know Lyla is my daughter, she absolutely misses attending playgroup but, always enjoys continuing to help out behind the scenes 💗

Tomorrows the day of our Teddy Bears Picnic, Summer Party🌟

🌟Name the Unicorn (£1 ago all proceeds will go towards helping Ottilie to get her treatment, will be drawn in the evening of Monday 20th July)

.. and of course we will have ice lollies for the children🍧

The party starts at 1pm
Our picnic will start at 1:30pm (along with a story)
Special Ceremony at 2pm

We still have a few tickets leftover if anyone would like to still come along but, these are limited. Please, send us a message (we cannot guarantee the we will be able to cater for allergies at late notice).
