FREE GOALKEEPER TRAINING SESSION

Hello!

We are GKU Goalkeeping and we run goalkeeper specific training sessions for young goalkeepers around Derbyshire and Staffordshire from age 7 up to 18.

Setup and run by professional goalkeeping coaches Ross Atkins and Tom Turner, GKU has been running since 2013 providing fun and enjoyable training sessions designed to development goalkeepers of all ability and experience levels.

All of our coaches are UEFA B qualified in coaching football and coaching goalkeepers and have a wealth of experience coaching at all levels from grassroots to elite academy environments. Our coaches also hold up to date First Aid, Safeguarding and DBS checks from The FA.

Our aim is to develop goalkeepers technically, tactically, psychologically and physically by combining fun and enjoyment with goalkeeping knowledge and understanding. We cover a wide range of goalkeeping topics including: shot stopping, 1v1s, reactions, crossing and distribution.

We would like to invite your goalkeepers to attend one of our FREE training sessions which will be held on February 28th from 6pm to 7pm at Swanwick sports college, or 8pm - 9pm at the Burton Albion Pirelli Stadium on the 4G pitch.

There will then be the chance to sign up for weekly goalkeeping sessions should the goalkeepers wish to do so, more information about this will be available on the evening.

All coaches are more than welcome to attend and we are happy to discuss all things goalkeeping from technique to how to incorporate goalkeepers in to team training sessions.
