Parents of children due to attend tomorrow, please ensure you are checking your Baby Day’s app for updates.

Today staff successfully completed their Paediatric First Aid training. They covered all areas such as CPR on babies and children, Choking, Epi pen training and defibrillator training. Well done to all the staff who came in and got stuck in on their day off to complete it! ⛑️⛑️

Today in Tykes the children have been celebrating Diwali! They explored a tuff tray that had lots of colourful patterns, filled with glitter and paint brushes. They used the brushes to make marks in the tray and practised holding a brush to develop their fine motor skills. Afterwards we got creative and made our very own lamps using paint and glitter!

This morning the children in Tykes have been practising fine motor skills and colour sorting in the tuff tray. They explored coloured rice with pots, tweezers, and scoops and were encouraged to put the rice into the pots. The children identified the different colours and tried to separate them into the pots. We also felt the rice in our hands and talked about the texture.

This week Babies and Tweenies have been spending alot of time in the outdoor environment . On Tuesday we were playing in the garden enjoying the sunshine and exploring some messy play! Today we went on a walk to the park, while we were at the park we saw lots of ducks, geese and swans and then we played on the park. We did lots of climbing and learning new words. We had so much fun and can’t wait to go again😁
