Trying our best to keep cool in the heat! Weve had loads of water play inside and outside, and even a few water fights!! The children have made their own fans, weve had ice pops and made banana milkshake with ice cream 🥵☀️💦🍉

A massive thank you to all of our fabulous staff that have worked so hard this week making fabulous creative opportunities for our children.💜 There has been a lot of planning, preparing and lots and lots of cleaning! We finished today with ice painting, toothbrush splattering and some sun art ☀️🎨🖌

Day 4 of Art Week, so much fun creativity. The children we really able to explore colour and different ways to make marks today. Bare foot painting, fly swatter art, tractors through paint, salad spinner monsters and string pull pictures! 🖌🖍🖼🎨

Another day in Art week 🖍 painting balloons whilst hanging up, this was tricky, especially the ones filled with air and not water. Spray bottle hand prints, using rolling pins in paint and to squash paper together making some lovely symmetrical pictures. We also made some sparkly pictures and play dough, and painted on shiny paper. Lots of fun and mess!

Art Week Day 2 🎨. We finished our chalk picture, we were all amazed how it looked when we took the masking tape off! We also did giant picture with glitter by swinging bottles of glitter. We drew under tables, free drawing, flower art, feather painting, pool noodle people, and we got very messy with lots of paint!! 🖼🖌

This week we are having Art Week 🎨. A big focus on art in all different forms both inside and outside. Some activities from day 1 - Natural clay art, painting on bubble wrap, foil and cling film, squashing paint under cling film, dot pen pictures and chalking 🖼

Some children went to Blagreaves library last week and had a fabulous time. They listened to a story, did crafts and rhymes, and Bridge the Gap also gave them worry worms and bags too. Theyve now got library cards and borrowed some books. Thank you to the parents that supported this, and of course Blagreaves Library and Bridge the Gap. We hope to go again soon 📚📖🎒

Has anyone noticed we have a planter outside of preschool now? The children have been busy planting it and watering this week. We are looking forward to taking care of it and watching things grow. Lots of people helped make this happen, big Thank yous to Greener Littleover and

We celebrated St Georges day today with an indoor street party in the morning and an outdoor one in the afternoon. We enjoyed scones with jam and strawberries. We also had lots of different activities 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🍓
