☀️ What a way to end the term! It’s a busy Friday here at Derby Research Schoo!

Amy and Tammy caught a very early train to London this morning to speak on a panel at the Teenage Reading Network at Royal Holloway, University of London.

A fantastic opportunity to share ideas, collaborate with others, and champion reading with young people.

We are at St Giles Spencer Academy today for the final SEND Immersion Day. Colleagues will be deepening their understanding of Proactive Behaviour Support, gaining valuable insights and exploring practical strategies to support learners effectively.

A huge thank you once again to St Giles for supporting the Research School and opening their doors to colleagues from across Derbyshire and beyond!

Thrilled to have had Josh Goodrich on the latest episode of Research into the Classroom. 🎙️

Dan and Josh explored the principles of responsive coaching, an approach that responds to real classroom needs while building deep, lasting expertise.

The conversation unpacked practical tools, common pitfalls, and powerful insights into how coaching can become a catalyst for continuous and meaningful improvement in teaching practice.
