Really excited about the new refreshed songs for the RSL Awards rockschool syllabuses debuting this September - I've been given a sneak peek and can share one of the new debut grade tunes with you already - 'Swift Exile' - Loving the challenge of the ringing notes and the fuller chords straight away at debut level!

Hello all 🎹🎸 thank you to those of you who have been tagging me and recommending me, however (happily) I'm afraid all my current private teaching slots for early 2024 are full..!

If you are a prospective new student/parent and have found me through google or spotted: Hilton etc. then I am operating a waiting list, so please feel free to get in touch to be added and I can see what slots open up in the future.

All the very best,

Ben

Resident Hilton Rockschool doggo Cooper has been the star of the show this week; firstly, appearing on BBC Radio Derby on Saturday and then being Andrex’s puppy of the week! He’ll be available for autographs all next week 🤣🐶🐾

Putting teaching into practise! Playing bass last night for the Christmas lights switch on in Stafford, just the 10,000 people in the crowd.. 🫣😲🎸

I was lucky enough to be gifted an electric guitar, so with a bit of work decided to make it a bit more personalised! 🎸😆

Hi all, lessons will recommence next week, save for weekend lessons which will start THIS Saturday the 3rd. All lesson slots will remain at the same times as last year unless you have previously contacted me to discuss otherwise.

I'm working through my list of taster lessons and other contact to arrange times etc, and as I'm sure you can appreciate, slotting everything in (I'm nearly at capacity, time wise! 🙃) organising new starters and sorting all the invoices etc. out takes a fair bit of time and most of my (limited 😂) brainpower so please bear with over the next few days whilst I get it all sorted.

Thanks again for your continued support,

Ben 🎸🥁

Hello all!
Parents/carers should have received an email today regarding lessons over the Summer Holidays:

I will be open between 9am-6pm for 4 days in August:
Thursday 5th
Saturday 6th
Thursday 11th
Saturday 13th

I will be running slightly longer, 45 minute lessons at Carsington Road starting on the hour which will be priced at £20 per session. You should be able to book and pay for the sessions via the link below (Please let me know if it doesn't work, it was a bit tricky to set up...🤪) If there is a high demand and all the slots are filled for those days then I may open up an extra day or 2 and I will let you know via email of any extra dates which are added.

Taster lessons are able to be booked during these days too for any new prospective students for September.

Any questions, please let me know by email, text fb message or whatsapp 😎

Thanks again for your continued support!! 🥁🎸
