Here are just a few of the wonderful cards we've received from our children and parents. The gifts are lovely, but the kind words you've written and shared with us mean the world.

As we say goodbye to our 2026 school leavers, we make friendship bracelets using the elastic from our name cards—an activity to remind you that you'll always be part of our preschool. We hope you never forget us, because we certainly won't forget you.

Class of 2026 it’s been a privilege.

Lots of Love Hannah, Adele, Mandy, Teresa, Angela and Kerry.

Well done to all our school leavers on their brilliant graduation today! You all did so well singing and doing actions to the songs in front of all the mums, dads and grandparents! You made us and everyone watching very proud!
Dinosaur graduation cake for our dinosaur mad cohort of 2026! 🦖 🎓

The children chose 'The crocodile who didn't like water' as their book of the week this week.
The little crocodile couldn't understand why he didn't like the water like everyone else around him. Then he found out he was a dragon and was meant to breathe fire, not swim!
We sat down to draw our own crocodiles and dragons which turned into some of the children choosing to draw other things in their artwork using the different shades of green on the table!

⚽️Football fun day ⚽️

We have had a brilliant day celebrating all things football! From team games, blow football, decorating players and ping pong football it’s been busy! The children have had so much fun….I’m sure some of them will be the next Declan Rice 🏟️

Our last month of preschool is going to be all about children's interests! The children will be choosing our books of the weeks and this week they chose 'Can you see Sassoon?'
This book is about a snake called Sassoon who hides in colourful, busy backdrops and the children have to find him. The children created a colourful backdrop for our very own Sassoon to hide in! Can YOU see Sassoon?

Our book of the week this week is the Smeds and the Smoos. It follows a red smed and a blue smoo who are very different but still love each other. They have a purple baby smoo smed! The children chose a partner and mixed the red and the blue paint on their hands together to make their own purple baby aliens!

Our painted caterpillars went into their chrysalises at the same time as our real caterpillars. The children were very excited to see a real butterfly had emerged earlier today in our enclosure but were even more excited to see that some of their paper caterpillars emerged out of their chrysalises, after they came in from outside play and had turned into butterflies too! Maybe tomorrow there will be more real AND cardboard butterflies emerging!

One of our butterflies has emerged! The children have called him Timothy Pope (a character from one of their favourite books, Shark in the park) and were so curious how such a big butterfly could fit in such a small chrysalis!
