We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more amazing first day! After so much hard work, planning, and anticipation, it was so special to finally open our doors and welcome our very first children to Little Woodlands 🥹 🌳 ✨

The day has run as smoothly as we could have hoped, our children have had the loveliest time, and our wonderful staff have said just how much fun they’ve had 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who has sent us lovely messages, congratulations, and beautiful flowers 💐 Your kindness and support have genuinely meant so much to us!

What to expect on your child’s first day at Little Woodlands… 🌿✨

We know that starting nursery is a big milestone — not just for your little one, but for you too 🤎

That’s why we’ve put together a little glimpse of what you can expect when you arrive. You’ll receive a warm welcome from a member of our management team, who’ll be there to help you and your little one feel settled from the very beginning. We’ll have everything they might need throughout the day, from cosy coats and puddle suits to wellies, gloves and more.
And because we know it’s a big day for parents too, we’ll have a little something special waiting for you both 🥰

We wanted to share this with you ahead of our official opening on Monday, so you can feel prepared and excited for this very special first step.

We’re counting down the days and cannot wait to welcome our very first intake of children to Little Woodlands 🌳🤍

A very exciting milestone for us🤍🌿✨

We’ve had our OFSTED registration visit, and we’re so happy to say it went really well! We’ve had some lovely feedback, and we couldn’t be more pleased✨

Every detail of our nursery has been thoughtfully designed with little ones in mind, and we can’t wait to see these spaces come to life with little hands, wandering feet and curious minds.

The beginning of something extra special will be starting very soon 🥺🌳✨

Okay, maybe we got a little carried away… 🤭🌿✨

From an incredible outdoor space with our very own Forest School and investigation area, to beautiful, calming spaces designed for little ones to feel at home, we’ve created a nursery where curiosity, adventure and learning go hand in hand🪵🐛

Superworm Tuff Tray 🪱🔍🌿✨

For our second open day, our little learners had the chance to get stuck into a Superworm-themed tuff tray 📚🪱

From digging and exploring to rescuing Superworm from his adventures, there was plenty of imaginative play, sensory fun and storytelling! We also used our beautiful forest school equipment from Little Learners FS to measure the worms and sort them into ‘big’ and ‘small’! 🐛💚

A perfect way to bring one of our favourite stories to life and incorporate mathematical language into our play 📏📖✨

At Little Woodlands, our outdoor space is so much more than a place to play — it’s a place to explore, discover, create and build confidence every single day 💚

From Forest School adventures and weekly tuff tray activities, to our builders’ yard, messy kitchen and bike area, there’s always something new to spark curiosity and imagination.

Our little ones can climb, balance, run, ride and challenge themselves, helping to develop those all-important gross motor skills while having lots of fun!

💫Little Woodlands Second Open Day💫

Following the success of our first Open Day, we're delighted to be opening our doors once again for anyone who didn't get chance to attend.

📅 Wednesday 9th September (tomorrow)

⏰ 4:00pm – 6:00pm

There's no need to book, simply turn up at any time between 4pm and 6pm. You'll have the opportunity to explore our beautiful nursery, meet our management team, ask any questions and see everything we've been working hard to create.
