Breadsall Pre-School

This week at preschool we have been looking at superheros and people who help us, and have been reading the book Supertato! The children have absolutely loved getting involved in all our different activities such as potato printing, and we've been on the hunt for the evil pea who keeps escaping from the freezer! The children have been so engaged in our learning it's been lovely to see 😊

We have learnt so much in our Mini Beasts theme! We've learnt all about the different types of mini beasts, where they live, how many legs they have and so much more! We went on a bug hunt and found lots of different insects, and have made paper chain and water colour Caterpillars 🦋

We’ve had such a fun-filled term at preschool! 🐣✨

Lots of lovely Easter activities and crafts, keeping little hands busy and happy.

We’ve also been lucky with some sunny days, enjoying the outdoors with our campfire play (sticks, mud and lots of imagination!) and ball games in the fresh air ☀️

To top it all off, we made some delicious chocolate crispy cakes covered in colourful sprinkles! 🍫🌈

Following our topic over the past few weeks, we have been learning more about the farm, how things grow and a little bit about planting using some cress seeds. 🌱🚜

All through play, crafts and hands-on activities!

We also took some time to make a little surprise for our lovely mums to celebrate Mother’s Day. 💐

The children had such a wonderful time learning and creating together!

🚜 As part of our farm topic, we had a very special visit from Ellie’s dad today!

He brought his tractor for the children to see up close, and some of them even got to climb into the cab – it felt like they were driving it themselves!

The children absolutely loved it. Thank you for such a special visit! 🌾

We have had a lovely first week back at Pre-School learning all about farm animals. We've talked about what animals we see on the farm, what noises they make and made our very our fluffy sheep to take home!
