It's always lovely to get such a wonderful review from a parent. To know that my sessions help so much. That the parents are happy and that the pupil is growing in confidence, and understanding more.

Two of my students' favourite maths games are Connect 4, using times tables, and Genius Square. They love beating me at both of these!! 👏💡😄👍 Games are a big part of my maths tuition because children learn best when they are having fun!

If you'd like to find out more about what a tuition session with me looks like and how I could help your child to shine, then why not fill out this expression of interest form below and I will be in touch.

As the new school year approaches, mindset is everything.
My favourite one to use is... mistakes are how we learn and get better. 💪

Hello, I'm Lynsey the founder of Soaring High Primary Tuition and the teacher/tutor too!

After my many years of teaching in Primary schools, I know that children learn the best when they feel safe, are free to make mistakes and are having fun. It's so important that mistake making becomes a part of the learning process.

Maths anxiety greatly impacts learning and performance and can be linked to avoidance behaviours. Overcoming maths anxiety is essential for helping your child build a positive relationship with numbers and problem-solving. Whether you are a home-educating parent or your child attends school, maths anxiety can hold them back. With the right approach, you can turn your child’s fear into confidence and help them succeed. That's why here at Soaring high Primary Tuition, I talk openly about these feelings, encourage taking risks and promote the making of mistakes.
