🌟 What a way to end Year 6! 🌟
A huge congratulations to our incredible Year 6 pupils on their fantastic performance of School of Pop!
From the opening number to the final curtain call, the children entertained us with their amazing singing, energetic dancing, confident acting and plenty of laughs along the way. Their talent, teamwork and dedication shone through in every scene, and they should all be incredibly proud of what they achieved.
Productions like this are about so much more than performing. They build confidence, resilience, friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Watching our Year 6 children take to the stage with such enthusiasm and maturity was a wonderful reminder of just how much they have grown during their time at St George’s.
A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated staff, who gave up countless hours to rehearse, organise and bring the production to life, and to our families for their continued support and encouragement.
Well done, Year 6! You truly were the stars of the show, and we couldn’t be prouder of you. ⭐🎭🎶

Today it was Foundation Stage's turn to visit the Nightingale Care Home... we did some colouring and spent time chatting with the residents and then the staff at the home presented us with a lovely thank you card! It has been wonderful and we're really looking forward to more visits with our new friends next year!

🌿🦴 Year 3 & 4 Adventure at Creswell Crags! 🦴🌿
Our Year 3 and 4 children had a fantastic day exploring Creswell Crags, where they stepped back in time and discovered what life might have been like thousands of years ago.
Throughout the day, the children took part in exciting survival skills activities, explored the caves, identified different animal bones, and enjoyed looking around the museum to learn more about the fascinating history of the area. They also had the opportunity to visit the gift shop before heading home.
The children represented St George's brilliantly with their excellent behaviour, enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the day. We hope you enjoy looking through some of the highlights from our adventure!
Here is your first raft of photos to enjoy...

Landed safely at The Briars. Fun on the trams and Gerald enjoyed his cake for pudding. They have even managed to make their own beds!

Our Year 1 children had a fantastic day at Peak Wildlife Park near Ashbourne, where they enjoyed getting up close to a variety of amazing animals from around the world. The children loved exploring the park, learning about different habitats and discovering fascinating facts about the animals they met. They showed great enthusiasm, curiosity and excellent behaviour throughout the trip, making the most of this exciting learning opportunity. It was a wonderful day filled with memorable experiences, smiles and lots of learning outside the classroom!
