Miss J's moment of fame...
Tricks and a life threatening (for Miss J) stunt! Thanks so much to Jack for making today superbly memorable for the children (and let's face it, the adults too)

Wow, what a start to healthy fortnight... we started the day with an assembly by Jack, a BMX coach, where he demonstrated some of his smaller tricks and talked about BMXing, in advance of running workshops all day with lots of different classes. Then Year One (classes 3 and 4) have had a scooter and bike session with their class teachers and they've been investigating healthy food choices! More to follow...

Year 2 blasted off to The National Space Centre today. They enjoyed learning all about explorers and our solar system and were able to deepen their History and Science knowledge. We watched a fantastic show in the planetarium and the children represented the school brilliantly. It truly was out of this world 🤩🪐☀️🚀

🏆 CHAMPIONS 🏆
We are thrilled to announce that St George’s has won the Seven-a-Side Football League! ⚽🏆
Our team showed incredible skill, determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the competition, and their hard work has paid off with a fantastic league victory. Even more impressively, the team went the entire league season unbeaten, not losing a single game on their way to becoming champions.
We are extremely proud of every player for their commitment and effort both on and off the pitch.
A huge congratulations to the team and thank you to everyone who supported them along the way. What a brilliant achievement for our school community! 🎉👏

Yesterday, Class 11 had a fantastic time taking part in the Brownlee Triathlon event at Moorways. The children showed great determination and enthusiasm as they completed the swim, cycle, and run challenges. It was wonderful to see everyone encouraging one another and giving their best effort throughout the day. To top off a brilliant experience, every participant received a medal and a goodie bag to celebrate their achievement. A huge well done to all of Class 11 for representing the school so positively and making the most of this exciting sporting opportunity!

Today, Class 1 visited Packington Farm. We had a fantastic day in forest school with Jules and Roy, meeting the animals, den building, lifecycle sequencing, natural art making and mini beast hunting. The fun was endless! A great time had by all!
