Last week our student parliament designed the below poster to support Mental Health Awareness Week.

They are now displayed around school ready to support anyone who needs it.

As if our week couldn’t get any better…

An AMA student in Year 8 has won the Derby-wide spelling bee which took place at Bemrose!

AND…. all AMA contestants who attended yesterday’s event made it through to the final round!!

It’s Wednesday… the last Wednesday before half-term… this can only mean one thing…

Rewards day Wednesday!! ✨

Today, 20 students from each year group who have accumulated the highest number of positives and had the highest attendance for the half-term will be out enjoying the inflatables! 😁✨☀️

A huge well done on another fantastic half-tern, making even more positive choices and creating even more opportunities!

Our community cook-along is thoroughly underway 🥣

Some are making samosas, some are making scones, but together, we are all coming together as a community to explore the importance of feeling connected.

We just wanted to give a massive shout out to the AMA cricket team for their performance at Repton yesterday afternoon!

This was our team’s first game and we are beyond proud of their sportsmanship and efforts!

One of the things we are asking students to do is to create a pie chart that explores how effectively they engage with the five pillars of wellbeing.

On 8th May 1945, N**i Germany unconditionally surrendered to the Allied forces.

Today we honour all of those who gave their service and retell their remarkable stories.
