This week has been all about celebrating, recharging, remembering and moving forwards in alignment ❤️✨

The main focus has been Darcy and getting ready for her exam results. Seeing her face as she opened them was just such an experience 🥹 With every grade, she expected one thing… and got one better! Her hard work absolutely paid off and we couldn’t be prouder. Celebrating you, Darcy! ❤️

Today was all about recharging in one of our favourite places, the Monsal Trail. Walking in nature really is the best medicine, and there’s been lots of it this week 🌿🥾

After a week away, healthy lifestyle is back in play 💪🏼 I fancied a burger so made this instead… and loved my PT session yesterday too!

I’ve also been looking through old photos that have caught my eye this week, especially one that ended up on the fridge today. We really do have the best memories, and life is definitely for living ❤️

And then there was last Saturday’s Toastie & Talk… WOW! The energy around that table was something else. I absolutely loved it 💞✨

And finally, watching my clients move forwards, make aligned choices and step into the life they really want? That’s what makes me thrive. ❤️

A week full of proud moments, fresh energy, beautiful memories, alignment and realising I am surrounded by love ✌🏻✨

You don’t need to feel confident to begin. 🤍

If you’re waiting to feel confident before you take the next step, try asking yourself a different question:

✨ What is the smallest brave step I can take today?

Confidence often doesn’t come before the action — it comes because you took the action.

Maybe your brave step is:
📱 Sending the message
🙋‍♀️ Asking the question
💡 Sharing your idea

The goal isn’t to eliminate the nerves. It’s to make the next step small enough that you can practise courage, even when you don’t feel completely ready.

And afterwards, take a moment to notice what happened.

You did it.
You survived the discomfort.
You proved something to yourself.

That is evidence.

You do not need confidence for the whole journey — just enough courage for the next step. ✨

A lot of people wait for confidence as if it is a green light.

“When I feel ready, I’ll speak up.”
“When I stop doubting myself, I’ll start.”
“When I know I can do it perfectly, I’ll try.”

But confidence is often built afterwards - when you have taken one imperfect step and given yourself evidence that you can move through discomfort.

Make the step smaller:

Send the message.
Ask the question.
Share the idea.
Say the first honest sentence.

Then notice what you learned.

You do not need enough confidence for the whole journey. You need enough courage for the next visible step.

What is yours today?

Confidence isn’t reserved for lucky people.

It’s created.

One decision.
One boundary.
One brave conversation.
One step outside your comfort zone.

Every woman I’ve coached who now radiates confidence started exactly where you might be today…

Unsure.
Scared.
Questioning herself.

Your future confidence starts with today’s decision.

Choosing yourself is often described as a big, dramatic act.

I think it can be much quieter than that.

It can be pausing before you say yes.
Leaving space in your diary.
Admitting that something no longer feels right.
Making one choice because it matters to you, not because it will please everyone else.

The kind of coaching I believe in does not tell women to abandon the people or responsibilities they care about. It helps them notice when they have disappeared from their own decision-making.

You can care deeply about other people and still include yourself.
You can be kind and still have a boundary.
You can choose what is right for you without making somebody else wrong.

That is not selfishness. It is self-respect.

A week in Cornwall 🌊🤍

Swimming in rock pools, riding the incredible waves at Perranporth and experiencing one of the best moments of my life. 🌊✨

So much grounding, fresh air and time by the sea as we get ready for a big milestone 💖 Darcy picking up her GCSE results.

We watched the eclipse, wished on shooting stars, soaked up the most beautiful sunsets, ate far too many pasties on the beach 🤭 and spent evenings at The Watering Hole after long, happy days on the beach.

We explored some beautiful places around St Ives and enjoyed a little scone and tea date with Darcy, the simple moments I’ll treasure. 🫖🤍

My cup is full, my energy is recharged and tomorrow it’s Toastie & Talk before I’m back doing what I love most… coaching women to reconnect with themselves and create a life that feels truly aligned. ✨

Cornwall, you’ve been magical. 🌊💫

You don’t have to answer immediately. 🤍

If you’re someone who automatically says yes, even when you’re tired, stretched or simply don’t want to… try giving yourself a pause.

Instead of an automatic yes, try:

“Let me check what I have on and come back to you.”

That little pause gives you space to ask yourself:

✨ Do I actually have the capacity?
✨ What will this yes cost me?
✨ Am I choosing this, or avoiding guilt?

And remember… a boundary doesn’t always have to be a big, uncomfortable NO.

Sometimes it starts with simply not answering straight away.

You are allowed to check your own capacity before giving somebody else your answer. 🤍

Save this for the next time you feel a pressured yes coming on.

If saying no makes you feel guilty, you may be used to measuring kindness by how available you are to everybody else.

But an automatic yes is not always a kind yes - especially when it leaves you stretched, resentful or breaking a promise you made to yourself.

Try giving yourself time before you answer:

“Let me check what I have on and come back to you.”

Then ask:
What will this yes cost me?
Do I genuinely have the capacity?
Am I agreeing from choice, or from fear of disappointing someone?

A boundary is not a punishment. It is honest information.

Save this for the next request that makes guilt answer before you do.

A gentle Sunday question for you:

When was the last time you checked in with yourself without immediately thinking about what everyone else needed?

One of the things I value most about coaching is the space to slow a busy mind down enough to hear what is actually going on underneath the automatic “I’m fine.”

Not every realisation needs an instant solution.
Not every feeling needs to be pushed away.
Sometimes the most useful thing you can do is notice, name what you need and give yourself permission to matter in the conversation too.

So before the new week begins, ask yourself:

What would make this week feel a little more like mine?

You do not need the perfect answer. Just an honest one.
