This afternoon the children had so much fun getting creative in the garden! They used sand, water,soil & rocks to make their own magical potions & yummy muddy cakes! We used the measuring scales to make sure all the ingredients were the correct weight!
With lots of mixing, scooping & pouring this allowed the children use their imaginations to enjoy the sensory play! ✨ 🍃

Today is the celebration for the dragon boat festival, we started off by reading the dragon boat story, then all children started tasting some sticky rice dumplings, next the children made our own dumplings. In the water we introduced playing foil boats and talking about how they float. To finish off all the children had a photo in maggies amazing dragon boat🐉
