It’s Monday and what a lovely day we had,
Today we enjoyed using our fine monitor skills to put mini marshmallows in poppets and cover in chocolate for a treat at home tonight !!

The children also enjoyed making yellow and red playdough with Nikki, then making Dinner for both Julie and Nikki out of the playdough ,

The children loved playing with the small world today the farm and the dolls house was super popular .

We enjoyed sometime in the garden and going to collect sticks for a fun activity tomorrow, see you soon x

It’s Derby day ,

The dinosaurs are fed and watered and ready to race!! Come down and put a bet on them tomorrow at The Dinosaur Derby. 1.30 at the Scout HQ in Kidmore Lane Only £2 for a whole family to get in.
Bbq, beer tent, roundabout, swing boats, coconut shy, crockery smash, archery, panning for gold, tombola, and loads more!! See you all there!

It’s Friday we can’t believe our first week back is complete,

The children have settled back into nursery life beautifully, and have enjoyed welcoming new friends.
Today we enjoyed painting leaves , playing in the mud kitchen, and the sandpit .

Inside we made creative models out of boxes, played trains and enjoyed learning the letter S in our silly soup circle time, have a great weekend don’t forget to pop along to the dinosaur derby Sunday from 1:30pm

Thursday !!

On Thursdays we love to cook and bake ,

Today with Julie we made cheese and Marmite twists, the children loved using there senses to see, smell, taste and touch all the ingredients,
Aswell as using both fine and gross motor skills ,

In the garden the children enjoyed playing with the oats making patterns using the plates and drawing shapes with their fingers.

The reading corner became a stage and the children performed dances and sang to each other,

With Nikki the older children enjoyed some pencil skills writing the names of their loved ones.

And celebrating a very special 2nd birthday 🥳

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow we’ve almost completed our first week back it’s flown by,

Wednesday we had so much fun in the sun , painting our hands with Ash and Julie.

Making dinner with the porridge oats,

We also loved playing in the mud kitchen making tea and coffee !!
The sand pit was a huge favourite in the garden today!

We’ve had another fabulous day welcoming back some more of our children after the summer ! We look forward to Wednesday and Thursday’s cooking we are making yummy cheese twists !!
