Meet Jo — Academy Manager
Hi, I’m Jo, the Manager here at Beauty By Lauren-Ann Academy Ltd. 💗
My journey in the beauty industry began back in 2001, when I started my career as a Face Painter. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to take my creativity to so many different places across the South, from birthday parties and special occasions to family fun days and festivals, including Victorious Festival.
In 2016, I decided to take a bigger step into the beauty industry and began studying for my Level 2 NVQ. Since then, I’ve continued to develop my skills and knowledge and now hold over 50 certificates and qualifications across various areas of the beauty industry.
In 2020, I completed my AET Level 3 teaching qualification, which opened the door to something I had always wanted to do — teach and support others. I’m passionate about sharing the knowledge, skills and little tips I’ve gained throughout my years working within the industry.
Since then, I’ve continued to grow both personally and professionally, graduating with my CertEd and further developing my teaching experience.
I’m incredibly excited to continue my teaching journey here at Beauty By Lauren-Ann Academy Ltd, helping aspiring beauty professionals build their confidence, develop their skills and achieve their goals. ✨
